Pegasus Expansion added to Legion Builder (plus new features!)

Pegasus Expansion

Bellatoris and the

Additionally, we’ve added a new feature and made a change to an existing one.

New: Maximum Cost. You have one more slot to fill and only 3 points left? Set the maximum cost to 3 and get only the cards you can afford. Use it with the other filters for even more control.

The set list used to be sorted by the order the expansions came out in, however with so many expansions out now, we thought it would be easier to navigate through the list if it were alphabetical, so now it is!

Water Cult Warrior and Adult White Dragon expansions revealed.

Hello folks,

The Nationals for DNDAW were on Sunday and the remainder of Wave 6 (Water Cult Warrior and Adult White Dragon), Bahamut, and The Premium Ancient Silver Dragon units all showed up. The Water Cult Warrior and Adult White Dragon were revealed by Derek, who won a complete Wave 6 set along with Bahamut, and revealed the cards over on Board Game Geek.

As soon as Bahamut’s cards are posted somewhere, we’ll add them to the Legion Builder as well. For now, here’s the Water Cult Warrior and Adult White Dragon.

Legion Builder Update: Shield Dwarf Fighter and bug fixes

We’ve added the Shield Dwarf Fighter cards to the Legion Builder:

We’ve also reworked some of the innards of the Builder to make certain types of special card rules easier to add , and provide better error messages, especially for cards that cannot be unequipped for some reason.

We have automated tests that should help make sure we didn’t break anything, but it was a complex change, so there may be bugs. If you find any problems, let us know!

Other changes:

  • Fixed a bug when saving/loading a Legion containing Corruption.
  • Cannot remove a creature from your Legion while it has upgrades. This was causing inconsistencies in some cases.

 

In other news… Maka and I will be at the Wizkids National Championship tomorrow afternoon, and we may be live streaming some or all of the “Meet and Beat” games with Andrew Parks and Manny O’Donnell! I say “may” because neither of us has ever attempted this before, so as long as we can keep the gremlins at bay, it could happen :).

Legion Builder Updated in honor of the Queen of the Evil Dragons

Quick update, if by ‘quick’ I mean ‘crikey this card was a pain in the neck’.

  •  Queen of the Evil Dragons should now correctly deal with Breath Weapons not taking up slots.

It will add new empty Dragon slots when you have Queen and breath weapons equipped. For now, it won’t allow you to unequip Queen if there are any breath weapons equipped, even if there are enough empty Dragon slots. We’ll fix that later if we can, to make it less confusing.

Other fixes to bugs sent in by readers:

  • Haste’s cost should now work again, after disappearing briefly.
  • Aerobat Amulet cost is now correct for Adult Bronze Dragons.
  • Fixed a typo with Tiamat.

Chimera (OP5 Prize) Preview Video and some silliness …

While we wait for the cards to go up into the Legion Builder …

Burning Ballista, Swooping Dragon is also proud to present to you a one-act performance by the Chimera:

Goathead played by … Chimera’s goat head.
Dragonhead played by … Chimera’s dragon head.
Lionhead played by … Chimera’s lion head.

The scene opens with the lovely chimera flying home after a successful hunt.

GOATHEAD is humming and begins to sing.

GOATHEAD: Chim Chimera, Chim Chimera, Chim Chim, Cher-ee …

DRAGONHEAD, growling: No.

LIONHEAD, rolling his eyes: Oh, please. Not again.

DRAGONHEAD, carefully enunciating each syllable: It’s Kai-mare-ah.

GOATHEAD, now grinning: Keymera?

DRAGONHEAD, frowning: KAI-mare-ah.

GOATHEAD, slowly, over-enunciating the word: Cam-er-a?

LIONHEAD, pleading with DRAGONHEAD: Don’t let him bait you, Dragonhead …

DRAGONHEAD, screeching in fury: KAI-MARE-AH!”

LIONHEAD, threatening: I swear, I will steer you both into the next mountainside!

GOATHEAD, glances over LIONHEAD’S head at DRAGONHEAD, catching DRAGONHEAD’s eye.

GOATHEAD, smirking: Whoa there, Kitty Perry, are we gonna hear you roar?

LIONHEAD, roaring: DO NOT CALL ME THAT!

GOATHEAD, with a falsely apologetic face: I’m sorry, didn’t mean to get your Goat!

DRAGONHEAD, snickering and grinning at GOATHEAD: Yeah, we’re sorry, we didn’t mean to let this argument … DRAGON!

GOATHEAD, giggling then yelling: Don’t horn in on my joke!

LIONHEAD, rolling his eyes in frustration: Why am I stuck with you two?

DRAGONHEAD, grinning at LIONHEAD now: We’re sorry, Liono, you know we’re manely joking.”

There is silence for a few long seconds as the Chimera flies majestically.

GOATHEAD, whispering with a loud, exaggerated whisper: We’re not really sorry … we were lion …

LIONHEAD whimpers.

END SCENE.
